Great game! All thats missing is more! I hope in future up dates the world will grow

Had never been a big fan of d&d, this game really brings that piece that d&d didnt have, an image to the fantasy. Gold is easy to gain, fn farm mobs higher lvl than your characters with the right equipment. I did find a bug, not sure if its just ipad mini or what, the dice for travel gets smaller if you play it long enough and rotate the ipad several times, at one point in time I had the die 5-7 pixels wide, completely unreadable. Easy fix save game, close app, restart dice is right size again. Awesome game! Worth every cent I spent!

Worth every penny! One of my goto games. Dont have to buy things to keep going forward in the game. If you are having trouble finding gold "shop" top left hand corner, you can buy things with gold to increase your gold find in battles. Farm elites for the extra drop. Get thousands in no time.

Great, but wish there were more levels, different challenges. Pls do more updates!! And pls ppl write reviews! This is one of a few really great RPGs out there!

The game really feels like it was made to entertain rather than to gain a profit

Knights of Pen and Paper I simply a superb little gem of a game. It follows and incredibly simple concept and executed it to a level (I thought to be) unheard of for mobile gaming. Gameplay consists of turn based combat similar to older RPGs as well as traveling to and from a multitude of locations. While to some the gameplay can be repetitive, I personally found it to be quite enjoyable making what could have been boring but necessary grinding into a great time killer during the commute to work. As well as the gameplay, sound design is also quite good with catchy 8-bit tunes. The visuals of the game are also in the era of early home console gaming and fit excellently with the games feel of old school table top D&D and old JRPGs. All in all, this game is simply an amazing title with hours of content and tons of fun. A must have for anyone with a thirst for a great title to play on their mobile.

This game is very obviously targeting fans of DnD and other tabletop games, however speaking as that demographic- I felt really alienated by this game. Not only does this game not give you any chances to role play (which is the heart of DnD) - but it restricts you to rigid stereotypes and makes a farce out the whole experience. Players are forced to choose a select few, and stupid characters like "Nerd", "Jock", "Paris" (as in Hilton) or "Little Brother". Why not let us enter our names instead of having to use silly ones like "grandma". The battle and equipment systems do work, are actually quite cute- but every time I see those stupid characters at the bottom of my screen it makes me want to throw my phone at the wall. Omg i made a dr who reference! Arent i a cool developer?? *gag*

Love the artwork, the humor, the storyline, the RPG element and the exploration of the world.

... and The Knights of Pen and Paper still has content to throw my way. Its a joy to play from the start!

Love this game. Plenty if content and characters. Even has difficulty changes at endgame. Have been waiting long time for more content. More devs please!!!

Wonderful translation of rpg tabletop gaming into the smartphone world.

This game has a ton of content, so you can play for days on end and not get bored. There are tons of unlockables. If you like Dungeons & Dragons, youll love this game

Five Stars!!

I had this game on two previous iPhones and always had my content. Now I install this on my new iPhone 6+ and I have to start completely over??! I dont care that I have to start a new game but I lost access to all the character unlocks and the items I had purchased in the DMs room. Why is there no restore tied to my Gamecenter account? Fix this and you get 5 Stars because I do thoroughly enjoy this game and cant wait to buy the DLC but not if I have to accomplish every little thing again. I want all my unlocked characters back darn it! Loved my Necromancer
